The province of Trapani has always been a meeting point, once upon a time for past populations, and nowadays for anyone who appreciates good food and good wine in a landscape dotted with landmarks such as Erice, theEgadi Islands, the salt pans of Trapani and Marsala, Mothia with its Phoenician remains, San Vito lo Capo,Castellammare del Golfo, Segesta, Selinunte and Triscina. The vines which arrived 3000 years ago from ancient Greece today mean that in our province some of the best wines of Italy are produced: Marsala so dear to Florio and Whitaker, Moscato and Passito di Pantelleria, Alcamo, Erice and many others.
The DiVino Hotel Trapani is located in the Rilievo district, between Trapani and Marsala, and is only 10 km from the Ignazio Florio Trapani-Birgi airport. Due to its very central location as regards the province of Trapani, theDiVino Hotel Trapani is the ideal place from which to plan excursions throughout the magnificent territory of the province of Trapani. In fact, the hotel is just a few kilometres from the most popular tourist destinations of historical and archaeological interest in the province.
The DiVino Hotel Trapani has 12 rooms, which are all soundproofed and bright. Each room has a unique above-door decoration of great design, created by the famous painter Pino Manzella who chose as the theme “Trapani past and present”. They have a touch of class and sophistication, making them very distinctive.
The rooms are positioned with four on the ground floor looking out onto a large lawned garden which is available for our guests' use. Eight rooms are located on the first floor. All the rooms are furnished in a contemporary style, they are large, comfortable and include room service, free wifi, air conditioning, LED Digital TV, hairdryer, telephone, minibar, safe, daily cleaning with linen change.
On the ground floor, beyond the lobby, there is a large wine bar with a breakfast room and tasting room where it is possible to try tuna products from Favignana and Bonagia including delicious smoked tuna and swordfish and “bottarga” (tuna roe), and cold cuts from the Presidium for Slow food, caponata, sun-dried tomato bruschetta sauce, pesto trapanese, olives and typical rotisserie - all created in our kitchen - and to finish, a good Sicilian cannolo, or a casata. All of these delicacies can be accompanied by a fine sweet, fragrant or dry wine, chosen from the hundred that can be found in our wine cellar together with artisanal beers.
You can travel with your mind, by reading, or you can visit places, choosing to stay in facilities where all your senses come into play, not only sight, but also taste and smell. The DiVino Hotel does not simply offer wine, or food but above all it offers courtesy, kindness and wisdom which is made available to those who really want to know historical places also through good food and drink.
